College Interns will assist Maritime Gloucester’s education and aquarium staff with animal husbandry and aquarium system maintenance, drop-in public education activities, week-long summer or vacation programs, and community fieldwork experiences. College interns will learn about the local marine species of Gloucester and teach our visitors about the biodiversity of animals and habitats that can be found right in our backyard. Interns will also gain knowledge and experience in our working waterfront through assisting in hands-on maritime activities in and around boats (summer months only). Internships are unpaid. Maritime Gloucester does not provide housing or transportation.
