Please read the full terms of the rules and regulations of the Bridge Film Festival available below. IMPORTANT...each Friends' school or Meeting may submit one narrative, one documentary one public service announcement, and one new media production per division.  The festival is open to any student attending a Friends school or Quaker Meeting. If a Friends school has an upper, middle, and lower school division they may enter up to 12 productions in total.

Bridge Film Festival Rules & Regulations
The Festival is open to all students currently enrolled in a Friends school or who are of Quaker families who have an affiliation with a Friends Meeting or Camp.

Each Quaker school and Friends Meeting or Camp may enter one narrative and/or documentary film and/or one public service announcement and/or one new media production per division to the Festival.

Productions must be approved and submitted with a supervising faculty member at the participating Quaker school or the Clerk of a Friends Meeting. The festival refers to this person as the entry's "adviser."

Entries submitted must be uploaded to YouTube and publicly viewable. (Please have the same title on both the YouTube video and entry form submission)

Entries may be on any subject consistent with Quaker values.

Narrative, documentary, and new media productions may not exceed 10 minutes in length.  Public Service Announcements may be either 30 or 60 seconds in length.  

Entries that the Festival committee considers inappropriate (such as: having gratuitous sex or violence) will be disqualified.

Your submission grants The Bridge Film Festival (an entity of Brooklyn Friends School) permission to broadcast your film.

By submitting your film to The Bridge Film Festival, you retain all rights to your film and may pull it from the site at any time.

The Bridge Film Festival has the right to use images from your film for Festival promotions.

The Bridge Film Festival is not responsible for any legal action that might occur by broadcasting a legitimate entry.

The Bridge Film Festival assumes that all filmmakers have received permission to use all material within a film and will not be held liable for any legal action that may occur by posting a film that has copyrighted music or other material that was used without permission.

The rules committee will verify that entries have met the criteria for the festival before posting.  

Festival Judges will evaluate the entries and determine the Judge's Choice Award winners for each category. The Festival Executive Committee will select a Spirit of the Festival Award winner.
