Join us for an evening where young readers become the storytellers for our foster dogs! Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to read their favorite stories to our foster pups, providing valuable socialization for our dogs and helping children develop their reading skills. Let's create unforgettable memories, one story at a time

Celebrate the magic of the season with a cozy afternoon of reading, kindness, and cuddles at the DPA Adoption Container! Kids will get to read their favorite holiday or winter-themed books to our adoptable foster pets, helping build reading confidence while giving our animals some extra love this time of year. 📚🐾

✨ BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) – holiday stories encouraged!

🎁 Holiday Kindness Cards – kids can write a sweet note or draw a picture for a foster pet or foster family

🐶 Snuggles with adoptable pets and plenty of warm, fuzzy cheer

🎄 Winter reading nook decorated for festive photos

This event is a heartwarming way to celebrate the season, nurture literacy, and spread compassion to animals waiting for homes.
