Uplifting Zapotec RSVP Form: Uplifting Zapotec: Indigeneity and Language Revitalization in a Transnational Context
Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion as we invite the Ticha project to discuss the border-crossing influence of contemporary Zapotec languages. Through Zapotec math lessons and readings of poetry written by a native Zapotec speaker and scholar, Dr. Felipe Lopez, we hope to uplift and amplify indigenous languages. Fill out this form to participate in a breakout room!
