Understanding and Responding to ADHD

We are excited to invite you to a special FREE evening at Bankhead Elementary on Wednesday, October 22nd at 5:00 PM.

Bankhead, Glenmore, and A.S. Matheson Elementary are partnering to host Dan Duncan, a former Bankhead student, parent of a child with ADHD, and an ADHD Coach, Consultant, and Academic Strategist.

Dan will be presenting “Understanding and Responding to ADHD in Children”, a talk designed to help parents, educators and caregivers better understand ADHD and how it impacts children’s learning and behaviour.

This session will provide:

  • Simple, easy-to-understand information about ADHD
  • Practical ideas to reduce frustration and strengthen collaboration at home and school
  • Strategies that build on your child’s strengths while addressing challenges

The event will be held in the Bankhead gym, and childcare can be provided. We hope you can join us for this valuable evening of learning and support!
