District 54 14th Annual Spanish Speech Contest Application Form

The Department of Language and Culture is excited to announce that the 14th Annual Spanish Speech Contest will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the District Office. If you are interested in participating, please complete the information below.

Speeches will be evaluated based on the following rubrics: Grades 3-6 Rubric, Grades 7-8 Rubric. The rubrics include the categories of content, organization, language control, presentation, and memorization.
Speech video submissions must be 3 minutes or less in order to be considered.
The deadline for applying is February 27, 2026, and finalists for the Spanish Speech Contest will be notified by Parent Square during the week of March 16. If you have questions, please contact the Department of Language and Culture at 847-357-2146.

El 14º Concurso Anual de Oratoria en Español se llevará a cabo viernes el 24 de abril 2026 en la Oficina del Distrito. Los finalistas del Concurso de Oratoria en Español serán notificados por correo electrónico el 16 de marzo de 2026.

Los discursos se evaluarán según estas rúbricas : Grados 3-6 , Grados 7-8. Las rúbricas incluyen categorias de función del contenido, la organización, el control del idioma, la presentación y la memorización.
Para ser considerado, el video del discurso debe durar tres minutos o menos.
La fecha de entrega: 27 de febrero de 2026. Los finalistas estarán notificados durante la semana del 16 de marzo de 2026. Si tiene alguna pregunta, por favor comuníquese al Departamento de Lenguaje y Cultura 847-357-2146.
