We want everyone in attendance to feel secure that that others will not talk about things learned about specific individuals with others. This means no gossiping! We will remind everyone of this very important issue at each meeting!
All parents are encouraged to sign up for the ADHDKC.org parent group and newsletter so they can learn too! See www.adhdkc.org and sign up with the pop up form.
We encourage all teens to ask their parents to join CHADD - Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. CHADD is a national non-profit, tax-exempt [Section 501(c)(3)] organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD. Members will receive discounts to their meetings as well as informative materials about ADHD. See http://chadd.org/Membership.aspx for details.
You can make a difference for people with ADHD. Each year, through the generous support from volunteers, donors, and members, ADHDKC.org is able to fund critical programs and services that truly make a difference in the lives of people affected by ADHD. Meetings are always free, but donations are accepted to help us continue to offer opportunities for our community. Please visit https://bit.ly/2nrmzzC to help us fund our programs!
