Join Open the Government for a series of roundtable discussions on building informed democracy in an era of endless war
We’d like to invite you to join a series of strategy roundtables to identify the primary barriers to public access to information on different aspects of U.S. wars, as well as the accountability tools and mechanisms that need to be strengthened (think whistleblower protections, FOIA, Congressional oversight, etc).

Legal and policy frameworks for U.S. wars

Press access to U.S. military & national security agencies & operations
Impact at home (erosion of civil liberties, targeting of marginalized communities, treatment of veterans)
Pentagon operations (budget, contracting, etc.)
