Tell Your Dyslexia Story ~ Change MD Education
Parents and Students -- please tell us your story. We will share it with policy leaders during meetings about dyslexia legislation and issues. Your stories combined tell the larger story of how students with dyslexia often struggle in Maryland public schools. Decoding Dyslexia MD, along with 49 other Decoding Dyslexia states, advocates for solutions to ensure that students with dyslexia learn to read, write and spell the way they learn.
Although many families homeschool, pay out of pocket for private tutoring and/or send their children to private schools to receive an appropriate education, DD-MD recognizes that there are solutions available that can and should be implemented as soon as possible. Your stories will make all the difference.
Thank you for sharing your story!
