Thank you for your interest in MITCH Charter School, a K-5 public charter school sponsored by the Tigard-Tualatin School District. A completed application includes this form or an online application and a school tour, as well as proof of residence and verification of birth date, copies of which can be emailed to the office. School tours are scheduled Fridays, February 1st – March 15th – please call to RSVP.
Applications for 1st through 5th grades are due March 15, 2019. The lottery for 1st through 8th grade admission is a public meeting at the school on March 18, 2019 at 6:00pm. A parent who has submitted a complete application is not required to be present for the lottery. Parents will be notified by email on March 19th if the student is offered a seat or is on the waiting list. When a student is offered a seat, parents have 24 hours to reply to the email accepting the seat. A $100 non-refundable activity fee deposit is required by March 21st. Failure to confirm acceptance within 24 hours or provide the activity fee deposit is deemed a decision by parents to not enroll the student for the 2019-20 school year, and the school will contact the next student on the waiting list.
