At The Heritage Lab, we care about the visibility of women in the arts. For the past two years, as part of the global Art+Feminism campaign, we've organised Wikipedia edit-a-thons in India to improve content on women in the arts on the platform. In association with We Work India, we're organising the year's first edit-a-thon at India Art Fair as a prelude to our campaign in March.
In its 11th edition, the India Art Fair is the leading platform to discover modern and contemporary art from South Asia. The theme for the edit-a-thon is 'Female Modernists in India', many of whose works will be on display at the fair. Over the course of three days, we hope to change, expand and update Wikipedia's pages to reflect the contribution of these significant artists.
Timings: 3 pm - 4:30 pm Venue : We Work space at the India Art Fair (NSIC Grounds Okhla, New Delhi)
