Funlap Comedy Festival 2023 Submission Form
Funlap Comedy Festival will be held September 29th and 30th in Dunlap, Iowa.

Accepted comedians will be given two showcase spots during the festival. Comedians selected for the festival will also receive a festival shirt, admission to all shows, optional Saturday outing, multiple free lodging options, and food/beverage/snacks. Once you’re in Dunlap, we will be able to help with shuttling to shows so you won’t have to drive. 

Submissions will close on July 1st and ALL comedians will be notified of their status by August 1st.

Submission Guidelines
Applicants will be judged based on their 5 minute submission video, by an anonymous panel of judges. If your submission video is longer than 5 minutes, please know that only the first 5 minutes will be watched and judged.

Submission can be any portion of your set but has to be one continuous video. NO “best of” or highlight reels. Your clip will be judged on content, originality, stage presence, and audience response.
