2019 Double Peak Challenge Volunteer Sign Up

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENTHUSIASTIC, FUN VOLUNTEERS THAT WANT TO GIVE BACK WHILE HAVING A GREAT TIME!
We need assistance with all the pre-race registration/bib pick up and race day logistics, such as festival area set-up & break-down, stuffing goody bags, course water stations, registration, course marshals keeping runners safe and on the course, pre-race check in, cheering the runners on, helping with the finish line and post race breakdown.
Volunteers 14+ are welcome, if you are younger, you can volunteer with your parents, guardian or a group!
Double Peak Challenge benefits Friends of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Board.
WE NEED YOUR HELP:
1) FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2019 ::: 3PM - 8PM (SHIFT FULL)
***Participant Bib Pick-up at San Elijo Recreation Center, San Marcos, CA.Bib pick-up duties include set-up and breakdown of bib pick-up, handing out bibs to runners, selling merchandise, directing runners, and other key tasks
2) SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2019 ::: 5:30AM - 12PM (multiple shifts available)
***Race Day at San Elijo Neighborhood Park, San Marcos, CA. Race Day duties include, setting up and breaking down booths, unwrapping medals, start and finish line assistance, course management, water stations, cheering on participants and other key tasks.
