Mother Tongue Day Volunteers Requested
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR MOTHER TONGUE DAY
On February 21st, from 1-3pm, Brockton will host the International Mother Tongue Day, a UNESCO event celebrated around the world since 2000. It is a great opportunity for parents, students, and staff to share their first language with the rest of the Brockton community. We are looking for volunteers to create a booth about their home country and proudly share their language and culture (alphabet, books, music, traditions, flags, finger food, traditional clothing, and most importantly sharing language, manners, and important phrases). By filling out this survey we will be able to contact you about a booth. You will be able to set up from 12:00-1:00pm
