Thank you for your interest in scheduling a tour at the Schneider Museum of Art. We look forward to your visit.

Primary tour availability is Monday-Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Requests outside these hours are subject to staff availability.

School groups are welcome to visit the museum without a tour during regular museum hours. However, we ask that you call us ahead of time with the date and time of your unguided visit so that we might arrange extra staff for security.

Note: groups larger than 25 may be asked to split into two or more rotating tours. While one group tours the museum, your chaperones can take the other groups to view the Center for the Visual Arts Galleries, or tour other campus offerings.

Tour Options
Tour options include:

1. Full Museum Overview, 30 - 60 minutes
Best for community/university groups.
Full tour of the current exhibition discussing the art, the artists, and their techniques. Time requirements for this tour are flexible.
Recommended group size of up to 30 participants.

2. Artist Overview and Scavenger Hunt, 45 - 60 minutes
Best for Grades K-5.
Brief overview of select artwork that approaches the exhibition theme, with free time afterward to complete a scavenger hunt.
Recommended group size of 15-25 participants.

3. Standard Themed Tour and Writing Worksheet, 60 - 75 minutes
Best for grades 6-12.
Docents will lead students in discussions and thought exercises addressing selected standards during a tour of the exhibition. Included is a reflection worksheet for students to further explore these standards while examining three of their favorite pieces in the museum.
Recommended group size of 15-25 participants.
