BSides Austin 2020 ticket refund request: Check
Because of COVID-19 safety restrictions on gatherings of 10 or more people, we cannot hold an in-person conference in Austin this year. Therefore, we will forego BSides Austin 2020 in favor of new conference dates: Thursday and Friday, October 7-8, 2021.

We chose dates late in the year to give us the greatest chance of success. But we are committed to these new dates, come hell or high water. If COVID-19 is still uncontrolled next fall, we will pivot and offer our conference as a virtual event.

If you would like a refund on your ticket(s) for this year’s event, please complete the following form. (We’re sorry but we can’t handle these kinds of requests through email as we have several hundred potential refunds to process.)

We would love to be able to fulfill your refund through Eventbrite/Paypal, but to our dismay we’ve learned that they will only do refunds within 180 days of purchase. So, we will be sending your refund by check.

All requests must be made by Monday, NOVEMBER 30. We will send your refund as soon as possible, but because we will have to manually process each we ask for your patience.

Note: Just as soon as we have used the data you submit to refund your money, we will delete it. We will keep only your Eventbrite email and purchase code so that we can reconcile our attendee list for next year.
