Parade of the Greatest Generation Application
The community of Bedford will host a 1940s parade on the morning of June 8th at 11:00 a.m. as part of the 75th Anniversary Commemoration events. Antique cars, bands, veterans, living historians, and more will parade through town paying tribute to those who served. At the end of the parade, a bell will toll marking the 19 men from Company A and one from Company F from Bedford killed on June 6, 1944.

Please note that all accepted entries must adhere to the parade theme. Because this is a parade to honor WWII and D-Day veterans, priority is given to WWII (military and 1940s Homefront) entries, then Korean War and Vietnam War military entries, and modern day military entries.
