I-95 Corridor Study
VDOT and the Commonwealth Transportation Board are requesting public comments on the I-95 Corridor.

Your feedback will be considered as team members study the corridor throughout the summer and prepare a draft plan report in the fall. The CTB plans to report findings to the General Assembly in December, prior to the opening of Session in January 2020.

We are making significant progress on transportation improvements in our region already, including:
  - Investments in VRE expansion
  - Dedicated funding for Metro
  - Bus Rapid Transit coming to U.S. 1 in Fairfax
  - U.S. 1 widening in Dumfries to create a Main Street in one of Virginia's oldest towns.

Now the Commonwealth is developing a plan to prioritize future investments in the I-95 Corridor.  Your comments are needed!

We know we cannot pave our way out of congestion in Northern Virginia. Every time we build more lanes, we see increased demand on the existing infrastructure. Do you support using multi-modal solutions like rail and public transit to address congestion?
