TRANSPORT MODELLING and YOUR EXPERIENCES
Dear City Representative,

Greetings from the Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR Prague) and thank you for clicking on our survey.  IPR Prague is in charge of developing the concept behind the city’s architecture, urbanism, development, and formation. We are funded by the City of Prague, and we represent the city in spatial planning matters. You can find out more about us on our website --> http://en.iprpraha.cz/.

For over 20 years, the City of Prague has been operating a multimodal transport model of the city and its surroundings within the environment of PTV VISUM. IPR Prague is co-creator of the model, which we regularly calibrate and validate. The model is run on a more-or-less non-commercial basis, with a pricing policy close to at-cost. More information is available here --> http://en.iprpraha.cz/clanek/1453/department-of-infrastructure .

We have created this survey because like every organization, we are constantly striving to improve and innovate. The questions below focus specifically on transport modelling, as we are seeking to gain insight into how other cities or city organizations run their models. If you are not the relevant person within your organization to answer these questions, we’d be grateful if you could pass them on to the right place. Please also feel free to provide links to where we might find additional information, or your contact information, if you wouldn’t mind us potentially following up with you.

And finally, this survey is not a part of any specific project; our aim is to analyze the data we collect and come up with ideas on how to innovate our own model.
