Emerald City Comic Con (www.emeraldcitycomiccon.com) will take place March 14-17, 2019 at the Washington State Convention Center. ECCC is the largest pop culture convention in the Pacific Northwest with a turnstile attendance of approximately 90,000+ fans throughout the four day show.
In conjunction with The Alexandria RPG classic lending library (www.alexandriarpg.org), we are pleased to provide space for game hosts to offer roleplaying game (RPG) sessions to attendees.
To begin the application, please provide the your contact information:
1) Game hosts are considered normal show attendees, and as such, must have their own show badge. However, we are able to provide you with a show badge when you commit to and are approved to host game three session times, totalling 12 hours. No transportation or hotel room reimbursement is provided.2) Game hosts are expected to handle setup/teardown of their game sessions. You are responsible for providing all pre-printed materials to operate your session. No compensation or assistance will be provided for delivering materials to your assigned table.3) No fees may be collected from attendees for participation in your game session.4) RPG tables in the ECCC Gaming area will be located in the WSCC Conference Center/Annex Lower Level (Level 0).5) The non-profit Alexandria RPG Library will be on-site and at your disposal, and can loan RPG source books, dice, dice trays, paper, writing tools, to help facilitate your game session.6) The D&D Adventurer's League and Pathfinder Society/Starfinder Society will have table space at ECCC. Official modules from either the D&DAL or PFS must be run through them. If you have questions about how to be part of the D&DAL or PFS/SFS organized play teams, please contact ECCC Gaming Coordinator Eric Portney (email@example.com) instead of completing this form.7) Narrative Games Northwest will be operating Indie RPG/Story Games on Demand sessions. If you wish to run a session wich would be considered an indie RPG/Story Game, please contact ECCC Gaming Coordinator Eric Portney (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information instead of completing this form.8) Not all applications will be accepted. Applicants will be notified of their session acceptance and time slots no later than Friday, February 15th, 2019.9) Approved sessions will be publicized through the ECCC Website and social media, but player signups are expected to be conducted on-site.
For example: You want to run your #1 game, a Shadowrun game, that you named "Phones, Plugs, and Harmony" two times. You also want to run your #2 game, Ghostbusters RPG, titled "Slime Doesn't Pay" two times.
On the Game Session #1 page, indicate the times you would be able to run your Shadowrun game, e.g. Friday at 3PM and Saturday at 7PM.
On the Game Session #2 page, indicate the times you want to run your Ghostbusters game, e.g. Saturday at 11AM and Sunday at 10AM.
If you do not have a Game Session #2 or #3, simply leave these pages blank, and continue to the final page of the form to complete your registration.
