Penn Panhellenic Primary Recruitment Registration Fee - Waiver Form:
Joining a Panhellenic Sorority at Penn does have a financial cost. Each sorority has dues for membership to pay for the experience that comes with being part of the organization. (More information about these costs can be found in the Panhellenic Flip Book and during Philanthropy Round of Primary Recruitment) However, if you are looking to see if a sorority is something you want to make work financially and are unsure if you are able to go through Primary Recruitment due to the registration costs this waiver may be right for you.
This year registration is one lower price due to its virtual nature. Registration is $25. If you are able to cover the costs we encourage you to make that work, as there are limited qualifications for the fee waiver based on financial need status.
The registration costs goes towards the cost of reservations for campus spaces for recruitment, educational speakers for convocation or bid day, training for student volunteers, meals for student volunteers, supplies, and technology fees for payment and registration site.
Please answer the following questions truthfully and in detail so that we can best determine your need for a waiver for the 2021 Primary Recruitment Registration Fee.
By filling out this form you are giving permission for the Panhellenic Advisor, Jessica Ryan (staff member) to read this form and contact SFRS to verify your aid status. In addition the VP of Finance and Correspondence for Panhellenic Council (student leader) will review this form and issue financial refunds.
If accepted for a waiver: Depending on the status of registration at time of form completion, either a refund in form of venmo will be given to you for your registration or we will work with you to register and skip the payment section for your registration (this can not be done on your own, your registration will show up as incomplete if not done with our staff).
