WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE BORDER? PORTLAND COMMUNITY FORUM
Horrified or overwhelmed by news coverage on the state of the immigration system and US-Mexico border? As thousands of refugee families flee due to the humanitarian crisis on our continent, the Trump administration has announced its latest cruel and clandestine policy to deprive migrants of color of their freedom, basic human rights, and needs.

Join members of Innovation Law Lab, IMIrJ, and the Santa Fe Dreamers Project for a Portland community forum on the border. Human rights advocates working on the front-line at the U.S.-Mexico border will discuss important topics like detention center conditions, the “Remain in Mexico” policy, ICE raids, and new challenges to asylum law. Join us to learn, ask questions, vent concerns, and stand with the community in solidarity for the rights of asylum seekers and immigrants of color. We look forward to seeing you there!
