Community Meeting: Towards Transition RSPV
WHAT: Meet, greet, briefing on the new Out of the Ashes report, and planning the next steps to address heavy metal contamination and coal-ash reuse
WHEN: Thursday March 21st, 5:45pm-7:30pm
WHERE: Morisset Multi-purpose Centre (143 Dora St, Morisset, New South Wales, Australia 2264)

Following on from the Preparing for Power Station Closure forum (Feb 13th, pictured below), and the release of Out of the Ashes, the HCEC would like to invite Lake Macquarie and Central coast community members to converge again to put research and plans into action.

We will share a briefing on the findings and recommendations of "Out of the Ashes: Water Pollution and Lake Macquaries aging coal-fired power stations" and then work together to form a plan to ensure coal-ash reuse and the heavy metal burden in Lake Macquarie doesn't go un-addressed.

We hope to see you there!
