Fall 2026 Chinese Language Placement/Proficiency Test/Credit-By-Exam

This test is typically administered twice a year, on the Friday during the first week of both the Fall semester and Spring semester. However, if you are placed into CHN 102 or a higher-level class and wish to obtain credits for a low-level class, you may only take the test once, upon beginning your Chinese class at the University of Arizona.
