sub calls are make via email and occasionally via text so please include your cell number above if you'd like to be added to the sublist

Off-The-Air

Promotions and Public Affairs (establish relationships with local galleries, nonprofits, clubs, promoters, etc.)
KCHUNG events (come up with fun events and fundraisers and help staff them)
Music (review new music and maintain the library)
Live Performances (sound engineer for live bands and broadcasts)
Public Service (type scripts and record announcements for broadcast)
Station Managing (manage the station during broadcast hours)
Engineering (construct radio hardware)
Computing (help with the KCHUNG website, computer network, office and/or accounting applications)
Housekeeping (clean and organize the station)
Grant Writing (help get KCHUNG money to expand!)

Availability
New volunteer interviews/orientation, potential availability to host shows, and training times are determined according to your availability.
Currently, KCHUNG broadcasts Sunday through Thursday. The times are flexible. We hope to continually expand our live broadcast hours so listing anytime you are available, even in the middle of the night, would be helpful. Off-the-air volunteers are welcome anytime.
