Mini Market Hub Project
The West Virginia Mini Market Hub Project aims to increase consumption of and access to locally and regionally produced agricultural products and to develop new market opportunities for farm and ranch operations serving local farmers markets. The West Virginia Farmers Market Association will coordinate training, one to one technical assistance, resources and peer support to farmers markets that seek to expand into an arena of aggregation and distribution to collectively market food and farm goods.

Markets who apply must be a member of the West Virginia Farmers Market Association and have completed the 2018 WV Farmers Market Census to qualify.

Phone interviews will be scheduled between January 14-25, 2019. Final selection will be announced the last week of January 2019. The two markets chosen to join the project will be required to attend the 2019 Small Farms Conference in Charleston, WV on February 16, 2019.

If you have any questions before proceeding with the application process, please contact Erica Gallimore at or 304-202-6618.
