Background on IN²: The Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN²) is a $55 million energy technology program funded by the Wells Fargo Foundation and co-administered by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). IN²’s integrated approach not only directly commercializes high-impact, emerging energy technologies for the built environment and infrastructure sectors, but also educates end users on adopting scalable solutions to support their goals.
Goal of IN² for Startups: The Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN²) has a program for adopters and customers to strategize how to implement new technologies in the built environment through digitization and change management. If selected, startups will get matched with companies that have been trained on implementation strategies and change management.
