Tell Congress to Pass the PRO Act and Invest in Public Services
The Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Mateo, and South Bay Labor Councils are working together to call on Congress to pass the PRO Act and to invest in public services. Working people are the foundation of this country. Let's make sure we protect them by joining our coalition of workers across the Bay Area in making calls to our Senators to pass the PRO Act and to pass the $1.9 trillion stimulus package. Strong public services, unemployment benefits, vaccination roll-out, and aid cannot wait. The critical $350 billion that our state and city services will receive in the relief package can allow for better staffing, retention, and fairer contracts. By investing in our public services, we can help support our communities during these difficult times. Workers and their families battling the coronavirus pandemic as they work to provide essential services for our communities need this relief now. Sign up to make a difference for working people by making calls.
