Join us on Thursday, April 17 for a public event hosted by the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS), the Office of Community Impact and Engagement, Program in the Environment (PitE), and the students and faculty of ENVIRON 464, a pilot travel course that explored Colombia during the March 2025 break.
This Global Connections Showcase will highlight a growing partnership between SEAS, PitE, and the Office of Community Impact and Engagement. It will also spotlight the course’s collaboration with community partners in Colombia—including those engaged in Indigenous knowledge exchange, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship.
Hear directly from students as they reflect on their time in a small town in the Colombian Amazon and at an avocado farm near Bogotá. Some of our partners will also be joining virtually from Colombia, one of the most ecologically diverse countries in the world.
