March 28 & 29 in Bloomington:  Evaluators Needed for Minnesota FCCLA State STAR Event Competition in Bloomington
We would like to invite you to serve as an evaluator for the Minnesota Family, Career and Community Leaders of America STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) competition. 
The competition takes place on March 28 & 29 in Bloomington, MN. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), is a Career and Technical Student Organization that prepares youth for various careers. We value your involvement as a business, industry, education or alumni volunteer.

You will serve as a part of an evaluation team.

Your role as an evaluator will be:
Judge each presentation based on a scoring rubric and give oral feedback.
Determine the list of top events qualifying for the National FCCLA competition
Re-interview the top participants, as needed.
Discuss findings with other judges.

Experience or expertise with the FCCLA process is not required or expected.  A Lead Consultant and a Room Consultant, familiar with FCCLA, will guide you through the judging process.  Your career and/or volunteer knowledge and experience is valuable to process.
