Inaugural Thesis & Dissertation House Registration
The Thesis and Dissertation House (TDH) at the 44th Annual National Society of Black Engineers Graduate School Conference will provide professional consultation for master’s theses and doctoral dissertations by providing guidance along with productive and rewarding scholastic engagement for scholarly research and writing.

Students who participate in this program will spend time thinking, writing and sharing ideas about their scholarly work. Students will learn effective time-management skills, learn how to set small manageable goals and meet with a thesis/dissertation coach in a one-on-one setting to discuss and address obstacles that might prevent them from completing their graduate studies.

TDH activities focus on areas where students typically have difficulty such as: conceptualizing a topic, writing a literature review, transitioning from proposal to dissertation, analyzing data, writing the last chapter, and editing.

"NSBE Thesis & Dissertation House Brought to You by Purdue University" will be held in Westin Lawerence on Friday (3/23) and Saturday (3/24) from 9AM to 5PM.

Things to note:
-TDH has a rolling application process. We will notify students as applications come in.
-Participation at the Thesis & Dissertation House requires a dress code of business casual. Photos will be taken during the session and posted on social media throughout the conference.
-If accepted, you are REQUIRED to stay throughout the duration of TDH. Friday, March 23, 2018 to Saturday, March 24, 2018.
-Continental breakfast, lunch, and light snacks will be provided for both days
-Be sure to attend the Career Fair on Thursday
