The Open Access India, a community of practice of students, researchers and advocates for Open Access, Open Data, and Open Education is excited to share that we will be hosting an OpenCon satellite event in Ranchi on November 12, 2016. OpenCon satellite events are local meetings about Open issues that are held in partnership with a global annual OpenCon meeting. Our event in Ranchi will bring together students, researchers, and members of the public who interested in learning more about openness in research and education. There will be talks by local speakers, video content streamed from the global meeting OpenCon meeting, and participatory workshops about open science and community organizing. If you would like to collaborate and help us to host the Satellite event at Ranchi, please fill the form. We would soon be constituting an Organising Committee for the event.
