Oct. 24 (Rain date Oct. 30), 10am-12pm
With the Buzzards Bay Coalition and Watershed Restoration Partnership
Learn about coordinated multi-town watershed land
conservation efforts as well as a large
wetland/stream ecological restoration project. These projects buffer
flooding and drought and enhance the resilience of a regionally
important drinking water supply, fish/wildlife resources, outdoor
recreation opportunities and local agriculture.
Note: The tour will be 1.5 (up to 2 miles) of walking out and back on trails, but with the opportunity to opt out of some of the sites/walking and wait/rest until the group doubles back.
We'll have optional social time afterwards for those who would like to stay and picnic with their brown bag lunch.
RSVP below! We'll be sending out more information as the date approaches. This series is organized in partnership by Mass ECAN, the MVP Program and DER.
