The Canada DET Grad Studies Challenge invites graduate program administrators and leaders from Canadian institutions to experience the DET firsthand. By participating, you'll gain insight into how a modern, digital English assessment works and be entered for a chance to win $2,500 CAD.
How it works
- Complete this form to register for the Challenge
- Receive an unproctored DET access code to take the test for free
- Complete your test by December 19, 2025 to qualify for the prize draw
Prizes
Two prize winners will each receive $2,500 CAD to be used for professional development needs among staff at their Graduate School or donated to the institution’s Graduate Student Association. Winners will be notified via email and required to answer a skill-testing question and, if applicable, claim their prize within 7 days or a new winner will be selected. Prizes will be awarded within approximately 30 days after the applicable winner is verified.
How to participate
After submitting this form, you’ll receive a code to take an unproctored Duolingo English Test for free. Tests taken by eligible participants by December 1, 2025 will be entered into the prize draw.
