ELIGIBILITY – Each applicant must be a full – time undergraduate female student currently attending a college, university, or community college, in good standing in an accredited engineering curriculum leading to an undergraduate engineering degree, and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Students receiving tuition reimbursement from their employers are not eligible for scholarships. Applicants receiving other scholarships may apply. Each applicant must submit an application package on or before May 1st of each year.
APPLICATION – A complete application package must be submitted in one package containing all of the following:1. Application Form – Completed application form. 2. Resume – A current resume, no more than 2 pages. Include education and employment history. 3. Transcript – A copy of a transcript showing grades for the entire enrollment in an engineering curriculum. If classes have been taken at more than one school, transcripts from each must be submitted. Applicants currently enrolled as freshmen must also submit a copy of their entire high school transcript.4. Applicant’s Essay – An essay written by the applicant. The applicant must write a clear and concise essay not to exceed 250 words stating why the applicant should be considered for this scholarship.5. Reference 1 – A letter of reference from a faculty member in whose class the applicant has been enrolled or is currently enrolled. 6. Reference 2 – A letter of reference from a present or former employer OR from someone who has known the applicant for three or more years who is not a relative.
