September Public Testimony Interest

City Council is back in session after summer recess on Thursday September 5th. Continuing the momentum of the petition drive, we're looking for Philadelphia residents to provide public comment at the City Council Budget Hearing as well as the Streets Committee Hearing.

Thankfully, one of our asks has already been filled with several houses of worship withdrawing their parking permits. We are now pushing the city to follow suit and address our other asks: restore the Vision Zero Budget so we can fully protect protected bike lanes throughout Philadelphia with permanent concrete barriers and change the signs from no parking to no stopping along protected bike lanes.
