Traffic Improvement/Change Petition
The Traffic Advisory Committee is formed by and reports to the Select Board with recommendations. The Petitioner and other parties who may in the Committee's judgement be substantially affected by such a petition will be notified of the date the petition will be discussed by the Traffic Advisory Committee. After submitting this request the Traffic Advisory Committee will respond to you in approximately 30 days. The process will then follow with a Hearing Date in approximately 90 days and a recommendation from this Committee in about 120 days.

Before the hearing date you will be required to obtain signatures by the lesser of ten (10) or 50% of owners or tenants whose dwellings or buildings are within five-hundred (500) feet of the intersection or area of concern. Whereas the area of concern is a stretch of road exceeding five-hundred (500) feet in length, petitions must be signed by the lesser of ten (10) or 50% of owners or tenants residing on the stretch of road.
