Docent - Costumed docents provide house tours

Cook - Costumed docents demonstrate authentic 18th Century open hearth cooking

Colonial Craft Demonstrator - Demonstrate crafts at Sunday and/or weekday school tours

Makerspace - Supervise crafts and other family friendly self-guided activities

Gardener - Help maintain the museums gardens.

Shopkeeper - assist in the gift shop during our Sunday events

Toll Keeper - Collect admission fees and keep track of the numbers of visitors during events

Assistants - Assist our craft demonstrators and docents during events.

Behind the Scenes - Sewing/mending costumes, preparing crafts, spring cleaning, etc.

Have another idea or skill (musician, performer, artist, researcher?) We're open to new ideas!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Miller-Cory! Junior volunteers can earn service hours with us as well as a certificate at the end of the season. We will reach out to you to schedule a new volunteer orientation. In the meantime, let us know if you have any thoughts or questions.
