Ward 18 Forum - PIAC and FSLCAC Election: Confirm Attendance | Register to Vote | Declare Your Candidacy
Thank you for your interest in the WARD PIAC election process.
After collecting nominations for the past 2 weeks, we only have one candidate for the Ward 18 PIAC co-representative, Anna Esmatyar. After careful consideration we have decided to cancel the scheduled election, and Anna will be acclaimed as the Ward 18 PIAC co-rep.

We wanted to share Anna’s statement of interest:
“With over 23 years of dedicated service at the TTC, my skills in communication, collaboration, and community engagement are noteworthy. Beyond my professional role, I am deeply involved in my local school council, volunteering my time to support initiatives that benefit students and families. As an advocate for parent engagement, I actively participate Parent Council, and volunteer in many school events, striving to enhance parent involvement. My passion lies in assisting new immigrants, supporting community initiatives, and empowering parents to play an active role in their children's education, both at home and within the school. I'm here to help!”

We know Anna is eager to start her new role and we thank her for making the commitment to represent Ward 18 parents at the Parent Involvement Advisory Committee. She will be joining our current Ward 18 PIAC co-rep, Seema Mitchell.
