The Somabay Model United Nations (SBMUN) conference is a middle and high school level simulation of the United Nations, taking place in Somabay, Red Sea, Egypt. SBMUN aspires to become the region’s leading MUN conference; amplifying youth voices and delivering a transformative experience that leaves a lasting impact on Egyptian communities and the world beyond.
As the sister conference of El Gouna International Model United Nations (EGIMUN), SBMUN builds on a legacy of excellence, drawing on years of experience and a global network to deliver impactful conferences that challenge delegates in debate, service and leadership, while shaping an immersive experience for all.
SBMUN is delighted to host its first annual conference from January 23 - 26, 2026 at GEMS International School Somabay, Red Sea.
