NZ Music Commission Musicians Mentoring in Schools Programme 2022
Through this programme students and teachers can benefit from the advice and experience of professional musicians from the NZ music industry. Our Mentors have a range of expertise which we try to match to your learning goals and your students. The programme is designed for around 60 schools per year, ten hours each.

Ka whakapakari tēnei wānanga i ngā pūkenga o ngā Kaiako me ngā tauira.

Applications are open until end of term 2, at which time they are analysed in balance with our responsibilities for fairness of resourcing, for diversity of regions, a balance of urban and rural, and for a spread of deciles.

Nā, hei taua wā ka tātaringia mātou i ā mātou kawenga, ā mātou haepapa e mahuru ai, e whai waahi ai ngā rohe huhua, e pai ai te kauhanganunui i waenga i ngā kura tāone me ngā kura kei tuawhenua, ōtirā, kia whai waahi anō hoki ngā kura tuakoka tae atu ki ngā kura whai rawa.

There is no cost to your school other than for a reliever. This reliever allows a teacher to be present at the Mentoring sessions.
