Live Performance & Lecture for KISS 2020
Proposal for a live Kyma performance and accompanying lecture/demonstration on a technical aspect(s) of your piece — for example, an aspect of the sound design, signal processing, how Kyma was used, and/or live controller mappings. Depending on your preferences, the lecture/demo will be scheduled either at the end of your concert or on a paper session on a subsequent day.

Since the focus of KISS 2020 is human interaction, we ask that, should your proposal be accepted, you will attend the symposium to present your work. (If unavoidable and unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending, your presentation will have to be dropped from the program). Since the proposals are carefully reviewed by a selection committee, we ask that, if your proposal is accepted, you do not substitute a different work or different co-presenters without re-submitting the new proposal for a second review by the selection committee prior to the submission deadline. Although our budget sadly does not allow for remuneration of presenters or performers, the organizers have generously offered to subsidize presenters, co-presenters and performers of accepted presentations by offering a reduced-rate conference fee (which is equal to the subsidized student rate).
How much are you looking forward to KISS 2020 in Urbana/Champaign? *
Already rehearsing my performance!
