The Friends of Camp Wildcat Scholarship Endowment

In 2019, a group of Camp Wildcat alumni created an endowment at the University of Arizona Foundation to fund a Friends of Camp Wildcat scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually to a University of Arizona student from a low-income family in southern Arizona.

Current goals for this project include communicating with alumni about the impact of the scholarship and soliciting funds to grow the endowment.

Outreach Committee

Under the leadership of the Outreach Coordinator (Audrey Rogers), the Outreach Committee is working to build a sense of community for alumni, spanning geography and CW eras. This is a flexible commitment. Your participation could include things like hosting a hike or virtual get-together or working on a networking/mentoring forum.

Camp Wildcat Story Project

Over the past year, a small team of alumni has been working on gathering stories from the early years of Camp Wildcat. We are documenting these stories through cross-generational alumni interviews on Zoom. Are you interested in participating in this project?

I have a story from my time in CW that I would like to share via Zoom, either individually or with a small group of alumni from my era.
