Openbay is hiring Digital Content & Social Media Specialists to join our rapidly growing team to develop content and drive social media strategies and initiatives for our consumer marketplace and business SaaS products. This role will acquire and nurture new and existing customers through effective promotion of the brand via digital and social media marketing initiatives and activities.
What You’ll Do
• Lead social media initiatives for our products across all media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, accelerating and driving website traffic and audience expansion; track marketing campaigns and social media user statistics.• Develop and maintain social media editorial calendars; generate, edit, publish and share daily, meaningful content (original text, images, video, HTML) that builds our customer base and member community, is consistent with our brand message and invites interaction.• Develop digital content marketing initiatives and influencer marketing strategies that are creatively positioned to our target market’s areas of interest; utilize aggressive social growth tactics to grow the brand online.• Perform research to find articles, stories, resources, or other content• Moderate user-generated content in line with the policies and guidelines for each community.• Plan, implement and maintain analytics-driven social media campaigns and analyze social data/metrics, insights and best practices.• Assist in other areas of marketing and business development.
Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate has:• 2+ years of marketing experience with specialization in social media, community management and/or content marketing.• Proven working experience in digital marketing with a strong competency in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.• Excellent content marketing, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.• Proficiency in using social networking and social analytics tools for maximum effectiveness.• Experience working with CMS-based publishing on platforms such as Drupal, Wordpress, Tumblr, Ghost, Squarespace and Shopify.• Experience with marketing automation tools like Pardot, Mailchimp, Hubspot and Marketo.• Knowledge of SEO/SEM and content optimization.• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, with good multitasking and organizational ability.• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.• Energetic and collaborative team member able to work with the team to achieve company objectives.• A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
