In the last few years museums have been facing with many challenges, from the pandemic to the digitization and environmental transformation. In spite of the critical implications of these processes, also opportunities arose from these changes and it is important for museums to exploit them in order to sustain and/or strengthen their competitiveness.
Above all, there is open innovation: with open innovation we mean the processes by which museums interchange knowledge with other stakeholders to innovate and improve their practices and performance.
