Come join the Sprout team in Little Falls on a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) pack day as we prepare, pack and distribute fresh, local goodies for our members.
CSA Share Packing Volunteer activities and requirements include but are not limited to:
• Prepare CSA boxes for packing (assemble and organize on conveyor table)
• Weigh/count and prepare individual portions of vegetables for each share
• Pack CSA shares
• Load and organize shares on pallets by location
• Organize walk-in cooler
• General cleanup
• Greet customers and retrieve their box as they come pick up their shares (at Sprout)
• Volunteers should be able to stand for the majority of their time onsite
• Volunteers should be able to do some moderate lifting of 30-40 lbs.
For your valued time and work we will send you home with a free CSA share to enjoy!
Cooking For Our Neighbors:
A community collaboration of volunteers who assist in prepping, cooking and storing meals for community members in need - along with kitchen clean up duties - all supervised by team leader. Dates TBD.
