Age groups will be broken up into 4 groups:
- 4 - 7 (Our Gang & Wiggles)
- 8 - 11
- 12 - 14
- 15 - 18
Students who are on the "cusp" (meaning they will be of age by the session's show closing date) may be admitted to a class of the older age group.
Students who are not on the "cusp" but who are interested in joining an older age group, may also apply/audition to be in a higher age group and can be admitted at the teacher's discretion.
Skills:
Aside from for Our Gang, we are looking to focus on the three key skills in musical theater performance, within each age group:
- acting
- singing
- dancing
We are also interested in offering an occasional technical skill outside of these focuses. Examples could include: stage combat, set design, stage management etc.
Class levels:
We are aiming to, roughly, offer a beginner and advanced class for each age group, each session so, while we know can't offer it ALL, we are hoping to get as close as we can, and staggering class offerings between sessions.

ADVANCED:
Your student has attained a level of knowledge and understanding of a particular area or topic that goes beyond basic concepts, terminology and definitions.
BEGINNER:
Your student has attained a basic knowledge and understanding in a particular area. This includes basic concepts, terminology & definitions.
Class focuses:
Our most successful, popular classes tend to include a specific focus. Please let us know what your class could focus on. Consider what the students would be excited about. Strong examples include:
- Musical Mash-up Crash Course: Matilda meets Annie
- ADVANCED DANCE: Fosse, Robins & More!
- ADVANCED ACTING: Brush up on your Shakespeare
Classes will be held at Midtown Community Church on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Our session begins on January 7th and 8th and ends with our showcase on Tuesday, March 4th. Both Wednesday and Tuesday classes will perform in the showcase on Tuesday March 4th.
