Your Limited Warranty: For the first twelve months following the date you move into your home, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity will be responsible for correcting defects in workmanship related to the construction of the home. They will be corrected in accordance with the Residential Construction Performance Guidelines of which the homeowner has received a copy. Please see further details in your copy of the Homeowner Warranty Guide.
Richmond Habitat has the final determination on what is "Urgent Matter" and what will be addressed collectively in the 11th month after closing.

An urgent warranty matter is a problem that has been controlled by the homeowner, but it needs to be corrected within 2 weeks of notification. An 11-month warranty matter is a defect in construction workmanship that shows itself in the course of the first 12 months. It is a minor inconvenience or malfunction that can easily wait until the end of the year for correction. It is NOT a cosmetic blemish.
For 11-Month Warranty Matters, you will be reminded in the 11th month after your move-in to complete this form. In this case, please only complete the form one time, listing all issues together.
