The Buck Stops Here: Life On The Executive Board

Wednesday, October 15 | 2:45 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. | Dream Downtown - The Gallery One of the unique struggles of college radio is the high turnover of DJs and staff as students move through and then graduate. The executive board is often the rock in a storm of constant change, even as they themselves will move through the station in a few years. Dealing with the big issues, like shrinking budgets, keeping your station on air, training your staff, and guiding the spirit of the station, our speakers will share their stories and take questions about keeping a station together. Moderator: Susie Kuo, Advisor/General Manager, KSSU Carolyn Erving, General Manager, KWCW Humza Khan, Station Manager, Radio UTD Steven Pardo, General Manager, KCPR Donald Rock, General Manager, WTBU
