Call for proposals: For the 2023 Annual Conference (November 3), VAIS is seeking proposals to support educators at all levels of the independent school context. Our theme, Fifty & Forward, serves to broaden our understanding of continued excellence informed by modern research and practice within the Independent School context in 2023 as our school communities continue to thrive. Consider the following learning tracks as you develop your proposal:

The Emotional Climate for Learning (ie. SEL, DEIJ/B, Res Life, Advisory, Health Ed)
Reimagining Spaces to Support Learning (ie. Environment/Learning Spaces, Experiential Ed)
Instructional Design (ie. Curriculum, Program Specific, Accommodations, College Career and Life Planning)
